Power Outage on Hand Lake After Overnight Storm
Early Saturday morning, June 21st, 2025, a strong storm swept through Hand Lake and surrounding areas, knocking out power between the hours of 2 and 3 a.m. Several trees were downed in the process, with notable spots being the Shadywood Shores area.
Power was finally restored around 6 p.m. after the electric company arrived and cleared a cluster of massive fallen trees.
Big thanks to the crews who worked all day to get us back online!
