2025 Hand Lake Boat Parade Recap: Creativity, Community, and a Whole Lot of Fun!

The 4th of July was one to remember on Hand Lake this year, thanks to our amazing neighbors and their incredible boat parade spirit! The sun was shining, the boats were buzzing, and the community came together to celebrate with laughter, cheers, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

From inflatable palm trees to creative signs and even a floating concession stand; this year’s entries were some of the best we’ve ever seen.

🎉 A Huge Thanks To…

  • Every family and friend who took the time to decorate their boats and bring the fun
  • Those who watched and cheered from docks and shorelines
  • And the folks who helped judge, even amidst the joyful chaos, your effort made this event possible

We’re so proud of how our lake shows up for each other, and we’re already thinking ahead to make next year even smoother and more inclusive.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re taking your feedback seriously and already working on a few improvements for next year:

  • Judge Banners so everyone knows who’s judging
  • Printed Ballots to make sure each vote is counted
  • More suggestions welcome! Got an idea? Let us know via email or at the next association meeting.
